Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to manage a field team on a 1.3 GW power-generation project in Millersport, OH. You will lead work planning, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, and coordinate system turnover with subcontractors.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 8–14 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to work extended hours. US work authorization is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or international equivalent.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience on power plant facilities is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Bechtel tools and project standards.
• Ability to work extended hours and night shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering leadership for work planning and packaging.
• Manage material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control.
• Coordinate system turnover and subcontracts with startup teams.
• Lead a team and ensure activities meet project requirements.
• Oversee inspection, testing, and discipline coordination.
