Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Mid-to-Upper level Piping Designer with Chemical Process Piping experience for our Scottsdale, AZ office. The role as design lead spans single or multi-discipline projects and requires coordinating designers and reviewing drawings for accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years piping design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Plant3D and Revit, and knowledge of Navisworks. Travel to client sites may be required, with a competitive benefits package and salary in the listed range.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant3D and Revit required.
• 15+ years of piping design experience requested.
• Knowledge of Navisworks and laser scan data beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping design efforts on single or multi-discipline projects.
• Coordinate and direct designers, review drawings for quality and completeness.
• Prepare construction packages, addendums and bulletins.
• Attend design and construction meetings and provide progress updates.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
