Job summary

The role requires expert piping layout skills and strong experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks, with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams and clients on both large-scale and smaller projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in piping design for refinery/petrochemical projects.
• At least 5 years in a Lead design capacity.
• Proven ability to interface with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 process piping and refinery layout standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of 3D models in AutoCAD Plant 3D for greenfield, brownfield, and revamp projects.
• Oversee P&ID data and ensure ASME B31.3 compliance and catalog alignment.
• Manage deliverables within scope, budget, and schedule; participate in client meetings.
• Lead QA/QC reviews of P&IDs, plot plans, and calculations; coordinate clash detection.
• Mentor junior designers and develop piping discipline workflows.
• Provide field support via site walk-downs to verify as-built conditions.
