Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD is required.
• SPED (Society of Piping Engineers and Designers) Certification is preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant industrial mechanical/piping drafting and design experience.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and design standards.
• Proficient 2D AutoCAD and Microstation; MS Word/Excel/Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design staff to deliver mechanical and piping scope on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance to junior designers and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Develop installation specifications and construction cost estimates.
• Review calculations for conformance to codes and good engineering practice.
• Mentor team members and participate in squad checks for coordination.
• Prepare P&ID and GA drawings and support startup activities.
