Position Overview

Acuren is recruiting a Lead Pipeline Integrity Technician to support our operations in Conroe, TX. This role provides specialized expertise in pipeline integrity, offering technical, procedural, and project support to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
  1. Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
  2. Conduct inspections to detect discontinuities using NDT methods
  3. Establish examination techniques ensuring safety compliance
  4. Apply testing standards and evaluate results
  5. Report and organize test results
  6. Perform specialized inspections and review reports
  7. Participate in operational meetings with clients and project teams
  8. Maintain communication with clients and update databases
  9. Assist in technician training and cost estimating
  10. Resolve technical issues in the field and report findings
  11. Supervise other technicians as needed
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering or a technical field (preferred)
  • Level II PT, MT, UT II Shear Wave certification or higher
  • Knowledge of pipeline industry and integrity inspections
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management
  • Experience in report writing and AutoCAD (a plus)
  • High school diploma or GED required
