Job summary

Modigent seeks Pipefitter Levels II–IV to support commercial mechanical services nationwide. You will progress from mid-level tasks to master-level expertise in wet-side piping, including hydronic heating, steam, boilers, and chiller systems, working with teams to deliver code-compliant, safe piping solutions.

Responsibilities expand with level: from routine maintenance to leadership, troubleshooting, and startups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience levels vary by level II–IV with increasing responsibility and independence.
• Includes welding/brazing certification (AWS) a plus; OSHA 30-hour encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Level II: perform routine to moderately complex repairs and maintenance; lead standard calls; mentor Level I.
• Level III: lead advanced installations, modifications, and startups; provide guidance to Levels I–II; ensure code compliance.
• Level IV: independently repair and replace piping systems; perform startups and checkouts; lead for 3+ years.
