Job summary

Modigent is seeking Pipefitters (Levels I–IV) to support commercial mechanical service and installation nationwide. The role progresses from entry level to master, with training, certifications, and clear advancement paths in wet-side piping systems for buildings and industrial facilities.

Positional responsibilities include basic layout through complex installations, mentoring junior staff, and performing welds, testing, and commissioning while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Level I: 0–3 years in construction or related field with strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
• Level II: 3–5 years in piping installation, repair, or construction, able to work independently.
• Level III: 5+ years with journeyman-level proficiency; diagnose and resolve advanced issues.
• Level IV: 5+ years (8–10+ preferred) leading crews, planning and managing complex jobs.

Responsibilities

• Assist basic layout, cutting, threading, fitting, and installation of piping systems under supervision.
• Lead standard calls, document work, and mentor Level I pipefitters.
• Perform welding/brazing, startups, and commissioning of systems.
• Oversee crew functions, takeoffs, and field surveys on projects.
• Enforce safety protocols and PPE; ensure code-compliant installations.
