Job summary

SPC Mechanical is seeking a Pipefitter Mechanic to support layout, fabrication, and installation of piping systems and HVAC components according to blueprints and project specs. The role will assist with pressure testing, welding prep, and equipment setup, working with a small crew under supervision.

The candidate should read and interpret contracts, shop drawings, and BIM360 models, and possess OSHA 10 and welding certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to layout hangers and piping systems.
• Ability to read contracts and drawings.
• Knowledge of pressure testing.
• Familiar with calculation for fittings and offsets.
• Lead and mentor a small crew (2–6).
• OSHA 10 certification and Welders certification required.
• Proficient with ACC, Blue Beam, BIM360.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and project specs to determine method of fabrication and installation.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines and equipment.
• Install work to schedule with quality standards.
