Job summary

PremiStar in Lumberton, NC is seeking a skilled Foreman Pipefitter to fabricate, install, and maintain commercial HVAC piping systems on industrial and commercial projects. Refrigeration and hydronic piping experience is preferred. Candidates should have strong manual skills, the ability to work with steel, copper, and plastic

Qualifications

• Refrigeration & hydronic piping experience preferred.
• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.
• Capable of exerting force to move objects; lift up to 75 pounds.
• 4 Years vocational preparation or equivalent; 5+ years related work experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, instructions for tools and equipment, and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to write reports with proper format and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Install, measure, cut, and fit pipes according to specs using various pipe types.
• Connect pipes via welding, soldering, brazing, or mechanical fittings; install valves and gauges.
• Read blueprints and isometrics to plan routing and sizing.
• Diagnose leaks and perform maintenance or replacements as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE on site.
• Collaborate with plumbers, welders, and other professionals on site.
• Maintain records of materials used and modifications.
• Lead on-site team to complete piping installations.
