Job summary

CSFCO is seeking a Pipe Welder Level 3 to perform complex welding on high-pressure piping systems and mentor junior welders. The role requires reading complex drawings and leading weld quality assurance efforts.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, setting up orbital, TIG, and submerged arc welding, and ensuring compliance with ASME/AWS standards. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of pipe welding experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• NDT qualification or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on various pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys.
• Interpret complex blueprints, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Set up and operate advanced welding equipment for orbital, TIG, and submerged arc welding.
• Conduct and pass visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections.
• Maintain detailed weld logs and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to resolve design or fabrication issues.
• Provide leadership to junior welders.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
