Job summary

CSI Recruiting is seeking a Lead Pilot to operate a Citation CJ1+ in Fort Worth, TX, Part 91. This is a hands-on aviation leadership role overseeing safety, maintenance coordination, budgeting, and vendor relationships for the company’s travel needs.

The successful candidate will hold ATP, First Class Medical, CJ1+ rating, and 5,000+ hours with 2,000+ PIC and 1,000+ turbine PIC, plus strong corporate aviation experience.

Qualifications

• ATP certificate and CJ1+ type rating required.
• Total flight time 5,000+ hours with PIC 2,000+ and turbine PIC 1,000+.
• Significant Part 91 corporate aviation experience and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety-first culture and independent judgment on weather, aircraft, crew, and risk.
• Ensure flight compliance with FAA Part 91 and company procedures.
• Maintain SOPs, checklists, risk tools, and safety docs; lead safety reviews.
• Coordinate inspections, maintenance, parts, vendor capacity, and scheduling.
• Manage insurance renewals and compliance; contingency planning for disruptions.
• Coordinate travel logistics, fuel, handling, permits, and ground transport.
• Track operating expenses and contribute to annual aviation budget.
