Job summary

Vienna Beef is seeking a Supervisor to oversee pickle production, ensuring compliance with FDA and FSIS directives, customer orders, and company specs. The role focuses on optimizing labor, equipment and materials to meet tonnage goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will develop staffing plans, training, and scheduling to meet product requirements, while coordinating with sanitation and QA to support continuous improvement and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with HACCP and SOP protocols.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ability to monitor sanitation and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, direct and supervise production of pickles according to FDA regulations, FSIS directives, company specs and customer orders.
• Maximize labor, equipment and raw materials to meet tonnage goals and customer demand.
• Develop staffing, workload, and scheduling to meet product requirements and quality demands.
• Evaluate demand, in-process inventory, raw materials and available labor to plan production lines.
• Collect weekly tonnage data and monitor inventories to support production needs.
• Coordinate with sanitation and QA to maintain a wholesome work environment and compliance.
• Monitor HACCP and SOP compliance, train operators, and document control measurements.
