Job summary

Vienna Beef LTD in Chicago, IL, is seeking an experienced Supervisor for the Pickle Production team. You will direct scheduling, staffing and daily operations to meet FDA/FSIS requirements and customer demand.

Responsibilities include optimizing labor and materials, coordinating with other departments, maintaining HACCP/SOP compliance, and mentoring staff to uphold quality and safety standards in a refrigerated production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
• Must be able to work the specified shift hours.
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, direct and supervise pickle production according to FDA regulations and FSIS directives.
• Maximize labor and material efficiency to meet tonnage goals and profits.
• Develop staffing, training, workload and scheduling for Pickle Production.
• Adjust production lines based on demand and equipment availability.
• Record weekly tonnage and volume data.
• Coordinate with other departments and sanitation team to support production demands.
• Monitor HACCP and SOP compliance and mentor operators to maintain quality.
