Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC in Augusta, Maine seeks a compassionate and experienced Physician Associate/Assistant (PA) to join as Lead Provider in our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers act as clinical leaders, mentoring new-grad providers and allied healthcare staff while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates have PA certification, a current DEA license, BLS, and experience in emergency medicine or urgent care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant and PA certification.
• DEA license with no restrictions.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (not CPR/ACLS online).
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care including history, exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
• Mentor and support new-grad providers and clinic staff as Lead Provider.
• Document and maintain accurate medical records using EMR.
• Lead clinic operations in the Practice Manager's absence and drive team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulations.
