Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC in Belfast, Maine is seeking a Physician Assistant/Associate (PA) to join our urgent care team as a Lead Provider on a per diem basis. You will serve as clinical leader for staff, mentor new-grad PAs and allied professionals, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered urgent care.

In this role you’ll conduct assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain comprehensive documentation, and help drive continuous improvement in patient flow and outcomes while

Qualifications

• Master's degree and PA certification required.
• DEA license without restrictions.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead provider role with mentorship of staff and new-grad PAs.
• Provide patient-centered urgent care, conduct assessments and exams.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests and manage treatment plans.
• Administer injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Maintain accurate medical records using EMR and ensure compliance.
