Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland in Tennessee seeks a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide a compassionate PT team. You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through collaborative planning and evidence-based treatments.

You will partner with hospital leaders to coordinate scheduling, onboarding, and continuing education, while delivering direct patient care as needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations, scheduling, orientation and training of staff.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships to aid in recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and contribute to a positive care environment.
