Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat a broad patient population in Southeast Alaska. The role includes supervising PTAs and staff, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring documentation complies with SEARHC standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, be licensed in Alaska, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Entry-level qualifying master’s or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent with licensure to practice in Alaska.
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license and clinical competency within 3 months of hire and every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide general PT evaluations and treatments across ages with diverse diagnoses.
• Supervise and direct PTAs and designated staff.
• Develop, implement, and monitor plan of care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and prognoses per SEARHC policies.
• Educate patients and families with home exercise programs and self-care guidance.
