Serenity Spring Senior Living at Northwood seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to manage patient/resident care within an interdisciplinary team. You will oversee treatment plans, coordinate with nursing and therapy staff, and strive for quality outcomes while controlling costs.

Direct supervision of therapy assistants will be required per care plans. Applicants must hold an active PT/OT/SLP license in the designated state, with foreign trained therapists meeting state requirements.

Qualificações

• Education: Graduate with minimally a bachelor's degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy, or a master's degree in speech-language pathology and/or equivalent certification accepted by the designated professional accrediting body.
• Foreign trained therapists must meet the education standards as defined by the state licensing board in the state they practice in.
• Active licensure in assigned state(s) of employment as a Speech Language Pathologist, Physical or Occupational Therapist or related health care profession.
• Prefer experience/knowledge in long term care facilities and outpatient settings; familiarity with government and regulatory guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the care of the patient/resident as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise clinically all assistants and aides under the plan of care.
• Ensure treatment aligns with state and federal guidelines and promotes quality outcomes.
