Job summary

Ashe Memorial Hospital in West Jefferson, NC, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time day-shift position in Rehabilitation Services. The PT will evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The role includes supervising PTAs, educating patients and families, and maintaining compliant documentation. North Carolina licensure and CPR certification are required; pediatric/neurological rehab experience

Qualifications

• Licensure as Physical Therapist in North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in pediatric and/or neurological rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan with individualized plans.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor PTAs and rehabilitation support staff.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards.
