Job summary

ARC Physical Therapy+ is seeking a passionate Lead Physical Therapist in Kansas to deliver high‑quality care with a focus on outcomes. You will assess patients, initiate treatment plans, and mentor junior staff within a clinic‑based setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Kansas license and CPR certification.
• Experience in outpatient (OP) setting.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Review referrals and patient records to determine PT treatment needs.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Develop goals and a comprehensive plan of care.
• Implement treatment programs and essential PT treatments.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and discharge summaries.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated LEAD Physical Therapist to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy +. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high‑quality care to our patients, ensuring their recovery and well‑being.

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE‑accredited Physical Therapy program
• Experience in OP setting.
• Current state of Kansas license and CPR certification
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office
