HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL is hiring a Lead Physical Therapist to oversee patient care across the lifespan. You will assess, develop, implement, and revise treatment plans, provide direct therapy, and serve as a clinical instructor and resource for staff.

This role leads clinical programs, participates in interdepartmental activities, and supports a comprehensive benefits package and career development within a respected healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist (LPT)
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required

A lead licensed physical therapist is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, development, implementation, and revision of treatment programs as necessary. The lead physical therapist is also responsible for providing physical therapy to patients/customers throughout the lifespan and able to provide age-specific direct care/services to this population. In addition, the lead licensed physical therapist participates in clinical programs and interdepartmental activities within the organization. They also function as a clinical instructor in the student affiliation program, and serve as a resource to other staff members in clinical and/or administrative areas.
What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist
• Bachelors Degree
