Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience installing and commissioning physical security systems.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical specifications.
• Basic IP network configuration and understanding of connectivity.
• Comfortable with hand and power tools, including scissor lifts.
• Basic understanding of Windows-based applications, system configuration, and browser-based interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead project sites in a supervisory role, directing technicians while actively participating in installation.
• Interpret and work from system design drawings, floor plans, and construction documents.
• Safely install physical security devices: cameras, card readers, door hardware, intrusion panels, power supplies, and cabling.
• Mount, wire, label, and test security head-end equipment (racks, servers, switches, patch panels, controllers).
• Commission and test systems, including IP address programming, device enrollment, and connectivity verification.
• Programming basics in access control or video management platforms (badge creation, camera setup).
• Troubleshoot cabling, power, and device communication issues.
• Maintain regular project updates and accurate as-builts documentation.
• Regular in-person attendance is required.
