Job summary

NV Energy is seeking a Project Manager for physical security capital projects across substations, generation facilities, and offices in Nevada. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or 4+ years PM experience without degree) and experience with security systems and utility sector standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years PM experience.
• Alternative: 4+ years PM experience without degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of physical security project plans, scope, cost estimates, schedule, and approvals.
• Coordinate procurement, negotiation, and contracts with contractors and vendors.
• Execute plans, manage resources, permits, budget, and safety to meet project objectives.
• Close-out projects with final deliverables, audits, and final reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, codes, and regulations.
• Propose hardware/software purchases and negotiate with vendors.
