Jobot is seeking a Lead PHP/Laravel Engineer to help modernize core data and rights systems in a hybrid SF environment. You will lead backend development, design robust APIs, and drive migrations of legacy code toward scalable Laravel-based solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in backend engineering with PHP and Laravel, strong data modeling and API integration experience, and comfort with data-intensive or transactional systems; React/JS familiarity is a plus and a collaborative,

Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 per year

Our client is an innovative Entertainment startup focused on modernizing backend systems that power global data and rights management. The engineering team is rebuilding its legacy applications in Laravel to create faster, more reliable, and more automated workflows.

The Lead Engineer focused on Publishing will play a key role in this transformation, overseeing backend development, API design, and system migrations. This role is ideal for an experienced PHP engineer who enjoys working with data-driven systems, third‑party integrations, and performance optimization.
