Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center seeks a full-time Laboratory Supervisor for Specimen Processing and Phlebotomy. Under supervision of the Manager, Laboratory Services, you will supervise phlebotomy and processing for the main lab and outpatient center, perform quality control, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Current WVDHHR State license required.
• ASCP Registered (or equivalent) required or within 6 months of hire.
• Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology or equivalent with at least two years in high complexity testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates and performs phlebotomy and processing for the Main laboratory and Outpatient Center.
• Performs and monitors quality control procedures.
• Observes and enforces laboratory safety regulations.
