Qualifications

• Must have phlebotomy experience and training.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• 1+ year of healthcare/phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Label specimens correctly and ensure orders are received accurately.
• Prioritize specimens using a first-in, first-out workflow, with stat specimens prioritized.
• Troubleshoot phlebotomy service issues and coordinate daily workload.
• Mentor new staff and ensure competency documentation is complete.
• Perform venipuncture and microtainer collection accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE usage; follow Chemical Hygiene and Infection Control policies.
