Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved training program in Phlebotomy.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Registered through ASCP or ASPT.
• Years of Experience/ Type of Experience: 1 Healthcare/Medical - Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Collect venous and capillary blood samples.
• May perform EKGs if appropriate for job assignment; assist with POCT.
• Label blood specimen tubes with patient details immediately after drawing.
• Assist in emergencies (Code Blue/Neonatal); respond promptly.
• Instruct and mentor phlebotomists; oversee scheduling and training.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and restock supplies.
