Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• PTCB certification required.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with processing and preparing prescriptions in accordance with applicable laws and policies.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and improve workflow efficiency.
• Train, coach, and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians and clerks.
• Manage medication inventory, ordering, stocking, and expiration monitoring.
• Process insurance claims and assist with billing-related tasks.
• Assist with pharmacy audits, documentation, and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate patient records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
