Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Engagement Lead Pharmacy Technician for the Central Pharmacy in LaGrange, KY. You will lead prescription entry, insurance processing, and patient outreach for centralized specialty and mail-delivery prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• National certification as a pharmacy technician.
• Completion of 340B University or Apexus certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions and adjudicate for centralized specialty and home delivery prescriptions as permitted by state regulations.
• Coordinate delivery with patients/caregivers and resolve claim issues.
• Assist with monitoring insurance issues and communicate delays to patients.
• Lead onboarding and training for pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Coordinate with central pharmacy dispensing team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Escalate pharmacist or management when issues cannot be resolved independently.
