Job summary

Baptist Health in LaGrange, KY seeks a Lead Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Central Pharmacy team. You will fill and dispense prescriptions, assist with insurance claims, and perform nonsterile compounding under USP guidelines.

You’ll manage inventory, oversee courier and mailing processes, and support Meds to Beds for discharge. Requires KY Board registration within 30 days, national certification, 2 years’ experience, and 340B training within one year.

Qualifications

• KY Board registration within 30 days or upon hire.
• National certification as a pharmacy technician.
• 2 years of job-related experience.
• 340B University completion or Apexus certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense community prescriptions under state law; entry of orders and labeling.
• Maintain expertise in insurance claims adjudication, reject resolution, and copay programs.
• Perform simple nonsterile compounding per USP 795 guidelines.
• Oversee prescription courier and mailing processes.

Nationally certified pharmacy technician

340B certification / training (Apexus or 340B University)
