BrightSpring Health Services Corporation, through PharMerica Pharmacy Alternatives, is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician in CHRISTIBURG, VA. This is a non-retail, closed-door role focused on LTC and senior living clients.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm, with clear opportunities for advancement in a high-growth organization. The role entails supervising technicians, managing schedules, dispensing and compounding medications, inventory control, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of drugs and medication terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Supervises orientation, training, and competency assessment of Pharmacy Technicians.
• Monitors workflow and reassigns technicians as needed.
• Prepares schedules to meet pharmacy needs.
• Fills and packages prescriptions, prepares various medications, including non-sterile compounding.
• Operates in the Controlled Drugs room and with automation for prepacking.
• Manages inventory and data entry into computer systems.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
