Job summary

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is seeking a certified Lead Pharmacy Technician to oversee inpatient and outpatient pharmacy functions under the pharmacist in charge. Responsibilities include prescription preparation, Pyxis Med Station duties, and assisting patients with Patient Assistance Programs.

Must have 5+ years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and TX license. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, with expectations for days, evenings, weekends, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years related experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• 3 years hospital exposure preferred.
• Current Texas Pharmacy Technician license and valid TX Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescriptions and pre-pack supplies.
• Maintain inventory levels and generate reports.
• Operate Pyxis Med Station and assist with PAP trainings.
• Enters patient information into Pharmacy system and supports enrollment in Patient Assistance Programs.
