Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to lead our back‑end team serving long‑term care and chronic care customers.

You will ensure proper preparation of medications for dispensing, provide feedback and training, and collaborate with leaders to maintain accuracy, compliance with laws, and timely order fulfillment in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One year or more of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills for back-end team.
• Attention to accuracy in medication packaging and dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support back-end pharmacy technician team.
• Ensure proper preparation of medications for dispensing.
• Provide regular feedback on technician performance.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leaders on training plans.
• Assist in orientation and education programs for controlled substances.
