Job Summary And Qualifications

The Lead Pharmacy Technician is that individual who, under the supervision of the Assistant Director or Director of Pharmacy, assists in the various activities involving the daily direct supervision of technician functions.

Fully cross-trained to perform all technician and buyer duties as assigned.

Direct supervision of daily technician duties, including; makes alternative arrangements for coverage when inclement weather, call-outs, or increased workload situations arise.

Perform specialized clerical functions including, but not limited to: human resources paperwork and employee educational books documentation.

Must function in strict accordance with standards, written procedures and guidelines with deviation approved by the Pharmacy Director

Organizational relationships include being directly responsible to the Assistant Director or Director of Pharmacy

What qualifications you will need:

• Certified Pharmacy technician program certification required
• Bachelor of Science degree or Associate degree
• Minimum of 4 years as a Pharmacy technician
• 4 years Pharmacy technician + 2 years supervisory experience- Preferred
