Job summary

Clearview Cancer Institute's outpatient pharmacy seeks a Retail Pharmacy Technician Lead to support licensed pharmacists in preparing medications for oncology patients. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Alabama technician license, and PTCB certification preferred; 2+ years retail pharmacy experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions for PO chemotherapy and supportive care medications.

• Return and credit usable stock to inventory on discontinuation.
• Assist in stocking shelves and cleaning equipment/areas.
• Ensure outstanding claims are paid in a timely manner.
• Answer phones and assist with copay/billing processes.
• Assist pharmacy manager with training schedules and accreditation procedures.
