Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a Pharmacy Technician 3 for the Home Infusion Team. The role leads in distributing medications, manages a specialized area, and supports clinical pharmacists with reconciliation and formulary research.

You will handle advanced inventory, assist in education for residents and students, and process prior authorizations for clinics while coordinating outreach with payers to ensure safe, compliant patient care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• TX Board of Pharmacy certification/registration required; PTCB/NHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy technician duties and cross-train new hires.
• Aid in Purchasing, Receiving, Auditing, Sterile and nonsterile compounding, Billing, Informatics, and more.
• Support pharmacists with medication reconciliation and formulary research; participate in care management.
• Process prior authorizations for clinics and renewals; obtain financial assistance as needed.
• Coordinate medication-related outreach workflows and payer communications; report results to leadership.
