Home Infusion Team — must possess a valid driver’s license; hours M-F 8-5; IV certification preferred. The role includes collaboration with clinical pharmacists and participation in education for residents and students.

Qualifications

• Professional understanding of Pharmacy Care modalities, terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, drug use and aseptic techniques.
• Knowledge of labeling and dispensing procedures.
• Ability to read, write and follow flow chart protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of a lead pharmacy technician and cross-trains new hires.
• Manages a specialized area including Purchasing, Receiving, Auditing, and Billing.
• Supports clinical pharmacists with medication reconciliation and formulary research.
• Performs advanced inventory management and supports education for residents/students.
• Completes prior authorizations for clinics and renewals for SPFS clinics.
• Goes over outreach workflows and coordinates with payers and department managers.
