Job summary

Cal State East Bay's Student Health Center Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacist I to manage dispensing, patient consultations, and collaboration with clinicians in a per diem capacity. The role supports immunizations and maintains drug records, inventory, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

The position requires a California pharmacist license, a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, and the ability to work independently while following campus policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and valid California pharmacist license.
• Knowledge of dispensing rules, patient safety, and drug interactions.
• Experience with immunizations and campus pharmacy operations.
• Ability to work independently and follow regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with automated pharmacy systems and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Compound, fill and dispense medications to students.
• Provide consultations and information on proper medication use.
• Advise clinicians on drug selection, dosage and administration.
• Maintain drug formularies, patient profiles and inventory records.
• Supervise support staff and coordinate OTC sales and disposal.
