An established industry player is seeking a Lead Pharmacist for Specialty and Home Delivery Operations to oversee daily pharmacist operations and ensure patient-centered care. The Lead Pharmacist for Specialty and Home Delivery Operations plays a key leadership role within the UVA Health Pharmacy Enterprise, providing direct support and oversight of pharmacist daily operations across home delivery and specialty workflows. This position serves as a liaison between clinical teams, medication access, dispensing operations, and call center support, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery. The role supports frontline pharmacists & technician teams, ensures quality assurance, facilitates pharmacist onboarding and training, and promotes adherence to compliance, accreditation, and payer contractual obligations. The Lead Pharmacist collaborates with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and innovation while supporting the upcoming launch of Pharmacy Central Services Center.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. BLS required.
Job requires standing and traveling for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals.
