Job summary

Pharmacy1st Health in Washington is seeking a licensed pharmacist to lead rural clinics' pharmacy operations, ensuring full regulatory compliance, patient safety, and high‑quality care across our expanding network. The role requires strategic oversight of dispensing, counseling, immunizations, insurance billing, and audit readiness to support scalable, affordable care in underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Washington Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage the day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory, and workflow.
• Provide exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, counselling, and medication management.
• Mentor and manage team members (pharmacist, technicians, interns, etc)
• Implement quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, family nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support business growth through effective management of pharmacy services, including immunizations and clinical programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
• Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company goals.
