Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• ACPE‑accredited school of Pharmacy with healthcare system experience; 1 year supervisory preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong problem solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day‑to‑day activities of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Acts as pharmacist‑in‑charge in the absence of pharmacy managers.
• Oversees staff, ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines, and maintains medication inventory.
• Assists in hiring, training, and evaluating Pharmacy Department staff.
• Schedules staff and ensures appropriate coverage.
• Develops and administers departmental policies and procedures.
• Provides clinical drug information and counseling to staff and patients.
• Documents clinical activities and participates in quality improvement activities.
