Job summary

CVS Health's Staff Pharmacist role is based in our retail pharmacy, focusing on delivering patient-centered care, safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and team.

You will oversee pharmacy operations during shifts, coach staff, ensure adherence to state regulations and CVS policies, and help improve patient outcomes through clinical care and collaboration with the broader health care team.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license active in the store’s state and NPI registration.
• Compliance with DEA and pharmacist regulations.
• Ability to supervise and coach pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

• Dispenser and counsel patients, provide immunizations when appropriate.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and workflow during shifts as proxy for manager.
• Ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient safety.
• Coach technicians and staff to deliver compassionate patient care.
• Maintain compliance with state board regulations and CVS policies.
