Qualifications

• Retail pharmacist experience preferred.
• Completion of a pharmacy residency program is preferred.
• Extensive clinical pharmacy experience focused on patient service and medical management.
• Experience with EMR/EHR, inventory tools, and sterile compounding techniques.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medication administration protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pharmacy team, including technicians and support staff, to ensure workflow and patient service.
• Oversee medication dispensing with accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Manage inventory with stock replenishment and controlled substance accountability.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state laws, and hospital policies on patient privacy and safety.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy.
• Utilize EMR/EHR for prescription processing and documentation.
• Provide clinical services such as pain management, immunizations, and medical management support.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers for medication reconciliation and patient care planning.
