Williams Bros Health Care Pharmacy in Austin, TX, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead daily operations, verify prescriptions, and supervise the pharmacy team to ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Indiana Pharmacist License required.
• Full-time or part-time availability.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders for appropriate therapy, checks dosages, interactions and adverse reactions.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local drug control regulations and maintains DEA/FDA/Board forms.
• Responds to customer inquiries in store and by phone regarding prescriptions and supplies.
• Resolves customer concerns and coordinates corrective actions.
• Ensures prescriptions are filled accurately by Pharmacy Technicians.
• Exercises professional judgment to mitigate patient issues.
• Keeps Pharmacy Manager informed of any unusual concerns.
