Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Pharmacist Lead for Non-Sterile Operations. This full-time supervisory role oversees nonsterile pharmacy activities, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy staff to ensure safe, accurate patient care.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years as a hospital pharmacist (nonsterile preferred) with 2 years of supervisory experience, Florida license, and deep knowledge of USP 795/797/800.

Qualifications

• RPh or PharmD required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Hospital Pharmacist, preferably with Nonsterile Products.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience or PGY-2 in Admin.
• Florida Pharmacy License required.
• AHA BLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
• ASHP Accredited Hospital Certification/Residency preferred.
• ASHP or Board Certification in USP 795 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Nonsterile Products operations and compliance.
• Coordinate Pyxis, CII safe area, and production scheduling.
• Lead pharmacists and technicians to ensure safety, accuracy, and waste reduction.
• Develop and update SOPs for Nonsterile Products.
• Ensure regulatory standards and Joint Commission readiness.
