Job summary

The Nemours Foundation in Orlando, FL is seeking a Pharmacist Lead - Non-Sterile Operations (Full-Time) to oversee day-to-day Nonsterile Pharmacy Operations at Nemours Children’s Hospital. You will ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient production in a leadership role.

Requirements include RPh or PharmD with a Florida license, 3+ years as a hospital pharmacist (nonsterile preferred), and 2+ years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• RPh or PharmD required and Florida license.
• Minimum 3 years as Hospital Pharmacist, preferably with nonsterile products.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent PGY-2 in Administration.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ASHP certification in USP 795/797/800 preferred; strong regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Nonsterile Operations and pharmacy services for patient safety.
• Coordinate, monitor and improve nonsterile products workflows and staffing.
• Manage Pyxis, CII safe area, compounding processes and quality checks.
• Develop and enforce SOPs; ensure compliance with Joint Commission/regs.
• Lead staff, coordinate training and performance appraisals; drive Lean initiatives.
• Investigate incidents; ensure accurate order verification and documentation.
