The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or Pharmacist license and brings at least 1 year of experience, with strong attention to detail and independent work capability in a fast-paced setting. Columbus, OH-based position with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD. required.
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing to the patient, including filling, order entry, and packaging.
• Review completed orders and cycle-fill medications to ensure prescriptions were filled correctly.
• Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing based on allergies, interactions, and refill frequency.
• Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment to ensure patient safety.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Log all error medication occurrences.
