Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team in Kentucky. You will dispense medications, review prescriptions, and provide patient counseling while ensuring compliance with all laws and company policies.

Responsibilities include immunizations, mentoring staff, inventory management, and ensuring safety and accuracy in all dispensing activities. Experience in retail pharmacy and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment.
• Administer immunizations to customers following Kroger procedures.
• Dispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and regulations.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
• Verify new medications against patient profiles for interactions.
• Verify the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns for accuracy.
• Follow HIPAA, DEA procedures, and company policies; ensure safety and compliance.
