Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Pharmacist for a patient-focused compounding pharmacy in Las Vegas to oversee daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
The role involves supervising sterile and non-sterile compounding, reviewing prescribed medications, leading the onsite Pharmacy Technician, maintaining QA standards, and partnering with providers and patients to optimize individualized therapies.
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Pharmacist license or ability to obtain before start.
- Experience overseeing pharmacy operations and staff.
- Strong knowledge of USP standards, regulations, and QA processes.
- Experience in compounding including sterile and non-sterile.
- Willingness to work onsite five days a week.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Perform and supervise sterile and/or non-sterile compounding activities
- Review, verify, and dispense customized medications prescribed for individual patients
- Lead and manage the current onsite Pharmacy Technician
- Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards within the pharmacy
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping, inventory management, and documentation
- Collaborate with providers and patients regarding compounded medications as needed
- Support ongoing operational improvements and growth initiatives
