Job summary

OWL Services is seeking an experienced Petroleum Heavy Maintenance Lead Technician to lead and execute petroleum system maintenance projects at commercial and retail sites. This role requires independent field management, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality results without direct supervision.

You will lead heavy maintenance work on fueling systems, perform repairs and replacements, diagnose issues, coordinate with managers and customers, maintain documentation, and uphold safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in petroleum service, maintenance, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of fuel systems including tanks, piping, and dispensing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform heavy maintenance work on petroleum fueling systems at commercial and retail sites.
• Execute repairs and replacements including spill bucket, STP, containment sump, and piping work.
• Diagnose system issues and develop field solutions with minimal guidance.
• Mobilize, manage, and complete jobs independently or with small crews.
• Maintain documentation including daily reports, photos, and material tracking.
• Uphold jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
